WJ Golf Academy was founded in 2018 by Wilson Choo, a multiple-time champion and seasoned professional, and Justin Chin, his former student turned co-founder. Their journey began when Wilson started coaching Justin at just nine years old—a bond that grew through years of playing, learning, and competing together. What started as a coach-student relationship evolved into a lasting friendship and shared vision: to create an academy that inspires golfers the same way Wilson once guided Justin.

With a proven track record in developing national champions and international contenders, WJ Golf Academy offers high-quality, personalised coaching tailored to every stage of a golfer’s journey. Operating at Saujana Golf & Country Club and Kota Permai Golf & Country Club, the academy provides a supportive environment for juniors, amateurs, and competitive players to grow and thrive.

We are also proud to have Danny Chia—former Malaysia No. 1, the first Malaysian to win on the Asian Tour, and the country’s first Olympic golfer—as our trusted advisor. His experience and guidance continue to shape our philosophy and inspire the next generation of champions.
